Rough Drafft is periodically open to applications for an associate editor (but not at the moment—sorry!). Responsibilities include reading manuscripts, proposals, and query letters, crafting editorial evaluations, editing query letters, and building query lists.

Requirements: Must currently work inside the publishing industry, outstanding reading comprehension and writing skills, a wide knowledge of the publishing marketplace, careful attention to detail, efficient communication, and a friendly demeanor.
